We are a leading energy company expanding our activities in the upstream segment . If you have experience in managing complex and challenging projects, thrive in a dynamic work environment, and want to lead strategic initiatives — this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading projects and programs in the Exploration and Production area, including international expansion projects, M&A initiatives, regulatory and other strategic projects
  • Defining standards for comprehensive project execution in the Upstream segment
  • Collaborating with ORLEN Group entities, including international subsidiaries, on project management
  • Managing a team of project managers and specialists responsible for executing upstream projects
  • Coordinating and overseeing the entire project lifecycle — from conceptual design to operational execution
  • Optimizing the upstream project portfolio, identifying, and mitigating technical and financial risks
  • Cooperating with key stakeholders, including business partners, investors, and operational/technical teams
  • Identifying new project opportunities and preparing proposals for their implementation
  • Developing project management strategies and standards in line with industry best practices
  • Monitoring project execution in terms of timeliness, budget, and compliance with legal and environmental regulations
  • Reporting results and recommending improvement actions
  • Creating and supervising project governance structures and control processes
  • Fostering a collaborative team atmosphere and supporting professional development (of self and team)
  • Building business awareness and engaging the team in achieving goals
  • Promoting open dialogue and embracing diversity

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Several years of project management experience
  • Ability to manage multiply projects at the same time
  • Practical knowledge of project management standards (PMI, PRINCE2) and project monitoring tools
  • Experience in managing project budgets
  • Knowledge of oil and gas extraction technologies and upstream sector regulations and trends
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Fluent English (working in an international environment)
  • Business accountability and a results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to build business awareness within the team and effectively engage them in goal achievement
  • Experience in managing interdisciplinary teams
  • Experience in mentoring and employee development

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in M&A / New Ventures projects
  • Knowledge of the Oil & Gas or energy sector
